  I immediately returned, and despite the shop being opened for another 10 minutes, Danielle was no where to be found. The front help circled the shop and couldn't find her. Luckily, Stephanie was still there. Stephanie was able to see and correct the error. She took off a fair amount of hair - clearly hair that Danielle should have cut, but with her end-of-the-shift eyes, couldn't recognize.

  Danielle deserves 1 star in this rating, but I'm throwing in another star for the previous times the haircut was adequate.

  Update: Too funny! I specifically mention someone (Danielle) by name who did an extremely poor job, and *poof*, three new reviews specifically mention her by name! After YEARS of no one mentioning her at all! Haha nice fake reviews!

  Danielle has exclusively been cutting and colouring my hair for years. She keeps up to date on the newest styles, trends and techniques and therefore always has amazing suggestions. She has a natural talent and I've never left her chair anything less than thrilled with her work. It's for this reason I've never trusted anyone else with my hair since she's started styling it.

  Don't get me wrong, they do have some people who do great haircuts there. But, if it's the end of her shift, make sure it's not Danielle cutting your hair. She is considered one of their "Master Stylists", which may be the case, provided she's not in a rush to go home.

  I have been going to Danielle for years, following her from salon to salon, and I have always LOVED what she does for me. People often complement me on my colour and cut, and I always point them in her direction. She is very up-to-date with trends and maintenance, and always take the time to style it really nicely before I leave the salon. She is fantastic and I highly recommend her. It's a good idea to book in advance, because she is so popular that her appointments are usually filled up if you try to book at the last minute.

  As a "Master Stylist", her fee is more expensive than the non-"Masters", so you'd expect quality regardless of when the haircut is done. When she cut my hair recently, she left it patchy and uneven. I pointed out a specific area of concern that I believed was not right, but she was hesitant to do anything and stated it looked fine. Given that she had a better vantage point than me sitting in a chair, I took her word for it.

  When returning home, two people where I live immediately noticed the problem. So that makes 3 of us non-"Masters" knowing it wasn't right, while Danielle the "Master" couldn't recognize this - at least not with her wanting to rush out the door. It was simply a matter of pulling on the length, while pulling the opposite side, to see it clearly wasn't even close to being accurate.

  And during this process, did anyone say sorry, or apologize, or offer some sort of compensation for the extreme inconvenience? No. A sorry would have sufficed, but that wasn't even offered by those who still remained in the shop.

  I've been going to Salon Sorella for 5+ years now, my stylist Danielle is amazing!! Her attention to detail and her ability to connect with the client of what they want it simply magnificent! She has stayed late on many occasions to finish my hair or even do my hair completely!
